Learning and Skills Council

The Learning & Skills Council (LSC) was established by a parliamentary bill called the Learning & Skills Act 2000.

The LSC's roles include the operation of a funding system which centres to large extent on funding courses that lead to qualifications - such as those offered by CPCAB - accredited by the Office of the Qualifications & Examinations Regulator (Ofqual).
