External Verification by CPCAB
During each teaching year a CPCAB external verifier (EV) normally visits each training centre twice.
- The EV consultancy (EVC) visit takes place early in the year and focuses on supporting and preparing training centres to meet all CPCAB requirements. The EV writes a report and action plan.
- The EV assessment (EVA) visit takes place towards the end of the year and focuses on assessment outcomes and associated internal moderation and verification. The EV writes a final report.
Centres are awarded an Annual Practising Certificate (APC) on the basis of successful EV reports.
