Our fee structure

2011-12

Please note: these fees are agreed to training centres. Students should refer to their training centre for detailed info on what they will be required to pay.

Our fees for 2011-12 (effective from September 2011) are as follows:

• There are no additional group, external assessment/verification, certification or external assessment feedback fees. Candidate registration fees are applicable to the UK only. (For overseas charges please contact CPCAB)
• Late registration fee - £50 per group
• Missed feedback appointment (2nd appointment) - £25
• Non attendance at standardisation training - £50
• Qualification descriptor - £120. This is in addition to the qualification approval fee
• At training centre request - additional support/consultancy visits – between £250 and £400
• Unit certification fee - £15. This is an additional charge for TC-L4 candidates that require certification for individual units where the whole qualification has not been achieved.
• As part of the training centre recognition process for all new centres, CPCAB personnel will carry out a mandatory induction visit. There is a minimal fee to cover staff travel expenses

Our fees for 2012-13 (effective from September 2012) are as follows:

There are no additional group, external assessment and verification, certification or external assessment feedback fees. As part of the centre recognition process for all new centres there is a mandatory induction visit for which expenses only are charged. Candidate registration fees above apply to the UK only. For overseas charges please contact CPCAB. Additional fees will be charged for the following:

• Late registration fee - £50 per group.
• Missed feedback appointments (applicable after second missed appointment) - £25.
• Non-attendance at standardisation training - £50.
• Qualification descriptor - £150. This is in addition to the qualification approval fee. Additional consultancy or support visits requested by centres – from £250 - £400 plus expenses.
• Replacement certificates - £35.
• Unit certification fees - £15. There is an additional charge for TC-L4 candidates who require certification for individual units where the whole qualification has not been achieved. For tailor-made qualification fees please apply to CPCAB.

¹Candidates assessed as Not Proficient in external assessment may appeal via their centre, against the external assessment result. The appeals fee is subsequently refunded in full if the appeal is successful. This re-sit/re-submission must take place at the next CPCAB specified EA date.

Candidates who are assessed as Not Proficient at their re-sit/re-submission are not usually recommended to undertake a second re-sit/re-submission but under certain conditions this may be considered by CPCAB.

Candidates who are still Not Yet Proficient in internal assessment at the end of the course should only be entered for an external assessment re-sit if they are able/likely to achieve Proficiency in their internal assessment.
