Candidate Registration

Register your candidate group online - the new Candidate Registration System is online and you can access it using your CPCAB centre ID and password which have been issued to you.

Overview

A Candidate Registration Form will need completing for each candidate group - even if all of the candidates have carried forward from a previously registered group.

Please note that:

  1. A £50 Late Registration Fee will be added for group/additional candidate registrations received by CPCAB more than 4 weeks after the course start date (or 6 weeks after the start date for courses running over a full three-term year) - and such candidates may be excluded from the next External Assessment. However, we will not guarantee to register groups if the Candidate Registration Forms are received after these time periods have elapsed.
  2. The form must be completed in full for each new candidate group, even if all of the candidates have been carried forward from a previously registered group.
  3. The Department for Education & Skills requires information on candidates' cultural origin (not nationality), so please ensure that column 8 on page 2 of the form is completed.
  4. Late registrations: It is acceptable for one or two candidates to join a candidate group (and register with CPCAB) after the start of a course, provided that at least 90% of the course-programme, as measured in Guided Learning Hours, still remains to be covered. However, we strongly recommend, particularly for the advanced programmes (Level 3 and above), that the introduction of a new course member in this way should be very carefully considered and discussed with both the prospective member and the group.
  5. Candidate User Guides for the qualification concerned will only be dispatched by CPCAB once the group has been registered.
  6. Mixed registration groups: We do not accept 'mixed registration' groups (candidate groups in which only some candidates are registered with CPCAB, whilst others are not).
  7. Candidate drop-outs / refunds of registration fees: We will give full refunds of registration fees - less an administration charge of £15 per candidate - for each candidate that withdraws from a course, for whatever reason, provided we are notified of such withdrawal within six weeks of the course starting date. Beyond this cut-off point for full-refunds, we offer a 50% refund of registration fees for withdrawal on medical grounds where confirmed by the Centre concerned.
