Support for Centres and Tutors

As part of CPCAB's commitment to offering support to tutors and candidates (based on findings identified through external assessment, external verification and contact with tutors), we have provided this STUDY FOCUS area on our website. The idea is to build up a collection of resources for tutors that can be built on and added to. Please contact us with ideas that you would wish to see covered.

The following study focus articles are currently available:

Immediacy (Study Focus #1):

Integrating Theory and Practice 1 (Study Focus #2): This examines the challenge of integrating theory and practice, together with helping trainees to develop the ability to explain what they do in a session and why.

Integrating Theory and Practice 2 (Study Focus #3): This is intended to support tutors who are not adhering to an established integrative model to help trainees develop theoretical coherence.

Support For Not Yet Proficient Diploma (TC-L4) Candidates (Study Focus #4): A model of support for Diploma candidates who are not ready to pass at the end of the course.
