Qualifications Progression Route Flow-Chart

CPCAB qualifications can be thought of as ‘learning ladders’ which help the trainee to develop their proficiency in a step-by-step fashion – depending on which progression route they are following. The following diagram shows the progression ‘ladder’ for trainees wanting to progress towards a professional counselling qualification and training in clinical supervision:

Note: Candidates who gain the TC-L4 qualification can progress directly onto a TCSU-L6 course (i.e. without first gaining PC-L5), but to do this they must have at least 2 years (part-time) of additional, post-TC-L4 (or equivalent), qualifying experience.
