Counselling Tutor - Spurgeon's College, London
Date: To start September 2018
Spurgeon's College has an excellent counselling department delivering levels 2, 3 and 4 CPCAB qualifications to a wide variety of students. This role would work alongside our two existing counselling tutors in the counselling department.
Main Duties: The main duty of this role is to teach levels 2 and 3 counselling classes one day a week during term time, as well as setting and marking all student submissions.
Person Specification: The post holder must meet the minimum experience tutor criteria as outlined by the CPCAB in the job information pack. This includes at least 420 hours therapeutic counselling qualification, evidence of current supervised counselling practice, experience of supervision and the willingness to work at, or already have a suitable teaching qualification.

Counselling Tutor - Sutton College, London
Sutton College are looking to recruit two tutors to co-deliver a CPCAB Level 6 Therapeutic Counselling Supervision Certificate. (Sutton College currently offer CPCAB courses from Level 2 to Level 5).
The course starts on Saturday 24th November and ends on Saturday 22nd June. Classes take place once per week at our Sutton centre.
The course has 92 Guided Learning Hours and these will be shared across the two tutors.
Applicants must meet all the tutor requirements stipulated by CPCAB (please see their website).
Minimum qualification requirements: 420 hours therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 and above and 90 hours clinical supervision qualification or training at level 6 or above.
Personal therapy and professional accreditation: Minimum of 10 hours personal therapeutic counselling and Member of a professional association for counselling or psychotherapy.
On-going CPD: 30 hours per year CPD activities.
Minimum practice experience: 2 years supervised counselling practice or minimum 450 counselling hours AND 2 years’ experience of providing supervision to groups and individuals in a counselling setting.
Minimum experience as a trainer/tutor: Teaching qualification AND 2 years teaching and assessing at level 3 and 4 or above.

Part Time Counselling Tutor – North Essex
Sharon Michell School of Counselling is looking to recruit two part time tutors to deliver our Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course (CPCAB Level 4).
- Qualified Counsellor / Psychotherapist
- Member of the BACP with a minimum of 350 hours of counselling
- 2 years' minimum experience of delivering either a diploma or degree level training
- Experience of teaching either or both a Person Centred or Psychodynamic Counselling Theory
- Be in current clinical practice and have some experience of supervising other clinicians
