Tutor – Part-Time Sessional Counselling up to level 4 - Redbridge Institute, Ilford

Salary: £21.76 - £27.55 per hour

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic, innovative part-time sessional counselling tutor. This is an opportunity to join a very successful and talented team of tutors who have high expectations for their learners. In our May 2018 OFSTED inspection Redbridge Institute was graded outstanding in all areas.

You will be preparing learners including assessing work for the suite of CPCAB qualifications up to and including level 4. Candidates will need the knowledge and skills to deliver integrative approaches at Levels 2 to 3 and a core specialism in the Humanistic approach (particularly Person-centred) to deliver at Level 4.

The post is to teach a level 3 group on Thursday mornings. There are likely to be other teaching opportunities within our counselling suite of courses which could include some evening work.

You will be supported by our curriculum and business support staff. We have excellent staff benefits including opportunities for staff development.

Redbridge Institute is located in Gants Hill with easy access to a Central Line tube station.

You will need to have a minimum of one year's teaching experience and a relevant subject specific qualification. A full teaching qualification is preferred but we would consider candidates with an initial teaching qualification who have relevant experience.

Pay scale 2 to 7 approximately £21.76 - £27.55 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Level 4 Tutor - Synergie Counselling, Dudley

Synergie Counselling are looking to expand their Dudley Centre in the West Midlands, and have a vacancy for a Level 4 Tutor.

The ideal Candidates will be:

  • Qualified Counsellor to at least level 4 (CPCAB Preferred)
  • A Member of the BACP with a minimum of 450 hours of counselling practice
  • 2 years' minimum experience of delivering either a diploma or degree level training
  • Experience of teaching an Integrative Counselling Approach
  • Be in current clinical practice

Support is required for the remainder of this academic year 2018/2019 with a view to progress to teach The Level 4 CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Year 1, which will run on Saturdays from 10am to 4.30pm during the academic term time 2019/2020.

Counselling Tutors - CPTA (Reading, Guildford, Oxford, Brighton, London, Bromley & Tunbridge Wells)

Part Time Counselling Tutor – North Essex

Sharon Michell School of Counselling is looking to recruit two part time tutors to deliver our Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course (CPCAB Level 4).


  • Qualified Counsellor / Psychotherapist
  • Member of the BACP with a minimum of 350 hours of counselling
  • 2 years' minimum experience of delivering either a diploma or degree level training
  • Experience of teaching either or both a Person Centred or Psychodynamic Counselling Theory
  • Be in current clinical practice and have some experience of supervising other clinicians

Place2Be Volunteer Counsellors - Nationwide

If you are a qualified or trainee counsellor/therapist, or clinical psychologist and would like to work therapeutically with children, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a primary or secondary school setting. We provide on-site same day supervision, developmental training and possible career progression within the organisation. Placements are generally one day per week, for one academic year, term time only. Half day placements may be available in some areas.
