Spring has sprung

The recent run of gorgeous spring weather has worked miracles in our leafy part of Somerset. It’s a joy to be able to eat outside, admire the flowers ... and drive home in daylight!

We hope you are all enjoying the change of season and the opportunity to put the dark winter months behind us again for a while.

Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA)

We are delighted to announce that COSCA have reviewed the CPCAB/Open University joint foundation degree and agreed that it meets the requirements for individual membership of their register. We hope this will lead to increased interest from Scottish centres as we receive many enquiries from interested students ‘north of the border’ who are frustrated by not having CPCAB training within travelling distance.

TC-L4 graduates will also be interested to know that even without the foundation degree, their qualification offers them the opportunity to apply for ‘organisational membership’ of the COSCA register, where they are working within a COSCA-approved agency. For more details see the COSCA website at

For those candidates who have enrolled on a CPCAB course from September 2014, we hope you have enjoyed your training!

It would help us if you could spare just a few minutes to complete our survey. You can include your name and centre details if you like, or keep your feedback confidential. Your comments are appreciated and will help us to continue to introduce improvements to our qualifications.

Please note we will not be able to respond to you individually and complaints regarding the delivery of your training should be taken up directly with your centre (see CPCAB complaints policy).

Many thanks for your time.
