FAQ - Frequently asked questions
How do I explain the SCoPEd framework to candidates?
Tutors can refer to the Partnership of Counselling and Psychotherapy Bodies (PCPB) website to explore the aims of the SCoPEd framework and what this means for candidates. Tutors can review CPCAB's SCoPEd Column A mapped to CPCAB TC-L4 Assessment Criteria and SCoPEd Column A mapped to CPCAB PC-L5 Assessment Criteria to show how the qualifications meet SCoPEd column A and B competences. Candidates studying at level 5 and interested in representation on the SCoPEd framework should be encouraged to review whether their practitioner training at Level 4 meets column A (e.g. CPCAB TC-L4) and how to achieve any additional training and practice requirements for column A and column B.
