Funding Opportunity – Partnering with Lead Providers

Did you know you could offer funded learning opportunities even if your centre doesn’t hold a funding contract?

By partnering with a lead provider that does, you may be able to deliver funded places to your learners and open up new opportunities for your centre.

Here’s how it could work for you:

Adult Skills Fund (ASF): Colleges, training providers and local authorities with ASF funding can subcontract delivery to your centre. In devolved areas, your lead provider will need to be funded by the local strategic authority.

Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE): From January 2027, learners will be able to use LLE for approved Level 4 to 6 courses. This could give your centre the opportunity to deliver courses on behalf of a provider registered with the Office for Students (OfS).

Please note, Advanced Learner Loans (ALL) can’t be subcontracted.

What are your next steps?

Contact local colleges, training providers or OfS-registered providers to explore potential partnership opportunities.

To access funding, you’ll also need to be registered with the UK Register of Learner Providers (UKRLP) and have a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN).
