CPD Supervision Workshop

What is covered in the course?

• The course will be certificated and provides nine hours of CPD for the participant.
• The content is designed to prepare tutors to deliver and manage case discussion groups for Level 3 counselling trainees. This will provide the critical component of knowledge and experience to assist tutors and centres in appointing and retaining tutors for the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies CST-L3 or Level 3 Certificate in Applied Counselling Studies CAST-L3.
• For tutor approval, to teach Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies CST-L3 or Level 3 Certificate in Applied Counselling Studies CAST-L3, there are other requirements which also need to be fulfilled; please see the Tutor CV Approval Guidance.

Who is the course for?

• Tutors who have been conditionally approved to teach CST-L3 or CAST-L3 but are required to gain additional knowledge of the supervision process.
• Tutors who teach CST-L3 or CAST-L3 but would like to become more confident in managing and facilitating case group discussions.
• CSK-L2 tutors who would like to prepare to progress to teaching CST-L3 or CAST-L3 in the future.
• Tutors who are seeking to increase their CPD to meet the requirements of their membership organisations (E.g., BACP, NCPS, SET).
• This CPD is designed for tutors and NOT for trainee counsellors.

Please note: this Supervision CPD Certificate is not a full Supervision Qualification. Tutors wishing to be approved as core tutors for the TC-L4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, will still require a recognised qualification in Clinical Supervision.
